LIFE DAYS 2015 was a WONDERFUL SUCCESS!!!!

Thanks to SO MANY great volunteers, a GREAT turnout especially on Saturday night, and the LORD…. LIFE DAYS 2015 was the BIGGEST FUNDRAISER CLA has EVER completed!!!  With a few loose ends of expenses, etc to compile, but it appears that over $36,000 was raised toward the operations fund of CLA through this event… which is a GREAT BLESSING.  PRAISE THE LORD FOR PROVISION!!!

RETURN REPORT CARD ENVELOPES...

PLEASE REMEMBER TO RETURN THE REPORT CARD ENVELOPES, WHICH WE USE EACH QUARTER TO COMMUNICATE GRADES TO PARENTS.  THANK YOU!

Student Drop Off and Pickup Reminders…

In general, we wish to keep student drop off in the morning and pickup in the afternoon as efficient of a process as possible.  To that effect, please remember a couple of items that help this process to go smoothly for all involved:

  • when dropping off and picking up students, be sure to pull forward as far as possible so that multiple cars can drop off or load students at the same time.
  • if, for any reason, you need to get out of your vehicle (driver), please do not stay in the pick up/drop off lane, but pull to the side or forward to an area that does not block other drivers.
  • upon dropping off, be sure that you do not stay in the drop-off lane longer than necessary to drop off children.  You may pull forward to the glass doors and use the longer sidewalk if necessary to give other cars accessibility to the main sidewalk (by the railing/yellow striped zone).

Thank you for helping us to make these processes efficient and timely!        - Mr. Horning

Christmas Program coming up December 17th!

Attached to last week’s Lion Tales was information about our annual Christmas Program!  We are excited again to have all of our students involved, and we will again be having a dinner prior to the program.  Please contact Mrs. Stribling if you have any questions.

From the Principal's Desk

As happens each year at the times of Life Days and Parent/Teacher Conferences, I feel renewed in the ministry of our school.  We are doing our best, along with our families and churches, to raise up the next generation to serve the Lord and minister to the world surrounding us.  May we continue in this mission, following the Lord’s direction!!!

In Christ,
Mr. Horning
