Slingshot

Talent Show update:
Talent show auditions will be moved to Thursday, February 4th during the same time slot (2:45-4:15.)   Any student/family wishing to audition will need to turn in their form and sign up for a time slot as soon as possible.   Please contact Mrs. Stribling if you have any questions or need to arrange an alternate audition time.

REMINDER…. IT’S COLD OUTSIDE…. PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILDREN PREPARED!
Our policy is that students will go out for recess every day, unless the weather is very cold (temperature or windchill well below freezing) or precipitation prevents outside recess.  So please make sure that students have hats, gloves and warm coats.  On days when snow is on the ground, children may play in the snow if they have boots.

AR Store a Great Success Once Again!

Once again, we had a successful AR (Accelerated Reader) Store.  The students cashed in their reading points for some great prizes.  Keep reading!!  Also, we’d be glad to have donations for our next AR store! Thanks to Mrs. Barb Lawson and parent Lisa Ragland, who organized it.

From the Principal's Desk . . .

I hope that you have enjoyed the snow.  First time this year (in my opinion) that we had a significant snow… and it reminds me again of how the Lord can make our sinful lives as “white as snow!”

In Christ,
Mr. Horning
