REMINDER: ENROLLMENT REMAINS OPEN FOR NEXT YEAR . . .

Though our early registration deadline expired on Tuesday, enrollment is still open,
and we encourage you to get re-enrolled, and invite friends and family to check out CLA.
It has been exciting to see our 2016-2017 student body begin to take shape.
We already have multiple new families that are joining our school, and
about 80% of our current families are already re-enrolled.

Have you encouraged anyone to check out what Christian Life Academy has to offer their family?  As plans are being put into place for next year, now is a great time to encourage families to visit our school, look at our programs, and determine if this is a place for their family.  Word of mouth from one family to another is the BEST way for families to find out about CLA.

Book Fair closes on Friday . . .

The Scholastic Book fair, which has been set up all week in the lobby, will be closing Friday afternoon.  Make sure to take advantage of this way to add to your home library and help the school earn money for books in the classrooms and library.

AR STORE requests DONATIONS . . .

There will be one more AR (Accelerated Reader) Store before the end of the year, and one more chance for students to “buy” prizes with the points they earn by reading.  Mrs. Barb Lawson organizes the store, and would like to request donations of items for students to purchase.  Items can be sent to the school marked “AR STORE.”  Thanks in advance for helping out this great program that encourages kids to read!

From the Principal's Desk . . .

Are you focused fully on God’s will for your life?  As the students are preparing for the Easter program - “Kingdom Connection” - I have been reading in I and II Samuel the story of Saul and David - two kings, but with very different reigns.  My desire is to be “a man after God’s heart” as David has been described, rather than chasing my own desires, as Saul was.  My prayer is that we will raise up children that will be fully invested in following the Lord, as was demonstrated through our student's Kingdom Connection Easter program on Thursday the 17th!

In Christ,
Mr. Horning
