Though our early registration deadline expired on March 15, enrollment is still open,
and we encourage you to get re-enrolled, and invite friends and family to check out CLA.
It has been exciting to see our 2016-2017 student body begin to take shape.
We already have multiple new families that are joining our school, and
about 80% of our current families are already re-enrolled.
Have you encouraged anyone to check out what Christian Life Academy has to offer their family? As plans are being put into place for next year, now is a great time to encourage families to visit our school, look at our programs, and determine if this is a place for their family. Word of mouth from one family to another is the BEST way for families to find out about CLA.
STUDENT COUNCIL “FUN FUN FRIDAY” EVENT, May 6th - See flier that was sent home!
CLA will be interviewing for staff positions for next year . . .
Beginning in May we will be interviewing. For information, contact Mr. Horning or see the all-school email posted under the Newsletter section of this website, titled IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS, and on Faceback.
Exploration of future high school classes: meeting 4/22/16 @ 10:45 AM...
Recently, a few parents have been discussing the possibility of CLA having high school classes in the future. We would like to invite all interested parents to a brief meeting on Friday morning, April 22, from 10:45-11:15 at the school. This time will be for sharing ideas and expectations regarding what we would want and need if CLA were to expand beyond 8th grade. Even if you have younger children, you are still encouraged to attend. We welcome input from any who are interested, with no pressure to commit in any way. If you are unable to come Friday, but would like to share your thoughts or if you have any questions, you may contact Lauren Gibson at 309-826-1848 or email@example.com.
From the Principal's Desk . . .
Recently I was reading from the book of Nehemiah, and again was interested to see how they were able to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem… Each person worked hard on the part of the wall that they were assigned to work on! We all have work to do, and although it may not be the project of completing the walls of a great city in 53 days, let’s keep on working hard where we are assigned to work! And God will do amazing things through each of us doing our part.
