Join the CLA Community in Prayer!! Every Friday at 7:30 AM . . .

We encourage parents, grandparents, friends… join us each FRIDAY MORNING at 7:30 AM for prayer!  We will meet in the 3rd/4th grade classroom - thank you, Miss Hopkins, for sharing your room!  You can commit to coming every week, or come when it works for you.  “Where two or three (or more) are gathered…”  Hope to see many of you tomorrow morning!

Walk 2 Play 4 CLA UPDATE . . .

The 7th and 8th grade class is excited to give an update… 40% of the funds have been raised toward the PE equipment in the Walk 2 Play program.  But, less than 20% of the miles have been walked… so we need to get walking!!! If you want to know more, and get involved with this, visit the website at www.walk2play4cla.weebly.com and join the fun.  Pedometers are available in the school office.  A party will be held on September 30 at the completion of the Walk 2 Play month of walking.

Box Tops . . .

Don’t forget to help support projects at the school by clipping your box tops! If you have collected them over the summer or have some still attached to packages or boxes, just clip and send!

From the Principal's Desk . . .

Our chapel messages the past couple weeks have reminded us that each of us has a particular purpose (Ephesians 2:10), and that our enemy wants to keep us from fulfilling that purpose (1 Peter 5:8).  Continue to pray and believe with me that the Lord has victory in the lives of each of our students - so that they are daily fulfilling the purpose God has for them!

In Christ,

Mr. Hornin
