Mark your calendars now . . .

Life Days 2016 will be held Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22.  We ask ALL CLA families to participate in our Largest Event each year!!!

FROM THE SCHOOL OFFICE: Lunch Money, Office Mail, and more details . . .

  • Any items that eventually are handled by the school office (lunch money, tuition payments, notes, etc.) should be sent with your children in their backpack/folder in the morning. This is the most efficient way to get items to the school office, as each class sends items to the office every day.
  • Please be sure envelopes are CLEARLY labeled so that they will get to the correct location. If you would prefer to deliver it yourself, please place items, clearly marked, in the tray on the corner of the secretary's desk.
  • Lunch menus were sent home in July and available at registration, but if you need a September menu, please contact the office and we can send them home.

Walk 2 Play 4 CLA UPDATE . . .

The 7th and 8th grade class is excited to give an update… 25% of the funds have been raised toward the PE equipment in the Walk 2 Play program.  But, less than 10% of the miles have been walked… so we need to get walking!!! If you want to know more, and get involved with this, visit the website at www.walk2play4cla.weebly.com and join the fun.  Pedometers are available in the school office.  A party will be held on September 30 at the completion of the Walk 2 Play month of walking.

Box Tops . . .

Don’t forget to help support projects at the school by clipping your box tops! If you have collected them over the summer or have some still attached to packages or boxes, just clip and send!

From the Principal's Desk . . .

I’d like to share a verse with you that was meaningful to me this morning.  In Jeremiah 31:3 the Lord says “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”  How great to know that our Lord loves us - no matter what the situation, and not dependent upon our actions, needs, struggles or striving!  Hold on to that promise today!

In Christ,

Mr. Hornin
