Illness Alert!

As always, be proactive to avoid your child getting sick!  We have had several cases of pink-eye, as well as other various colds and illnesses that have presented in several of our classrooms.  Be sure to watch your child’s health closely, keep them home if ill, and wash hands, disinfect, etc.  We are hoping and praying that full health returns to our school… and we all play a part in that happening!

!!! Talent Show and Chili Cook-off Friday, February 3rd !!!

The Talent show/Chili Cook off/LuLaRoe fundraiser is TOMORROW night!!!  CLA's students have cooked up some tremendous acts that you won't want to miss. Hope to see you there!

Music Departments News and Reminders . . .

Band students- Solo and Ensemble contest is 2 weeks away (February 11th)!  Make sure you are practicing!

From the Principal's Desk . . .

With just a few basketball games remaining, and volleyball practices leading to games in a few weeks, I was thinking recently about “teamwork” and how we are all a part of the team working together for the discipleship of our students here at CLA.  John 15 talks about how Jesus is the vine and we are the branches.  Let’s all stay connected to the vine… and help these young branches become fruitful!

In Christ,

Mr. Horning
