Calling ALL WHO VOLUNTEER at CLA . . .

On Wednesday, May 17, all volunteers are invited to a “Volunteer Tea” in celebration of the many hours that you have given this school year at CLA.  We appreciate greatly your time and efforts.  The tea will begin at 2:50 pm in the gym.  Please let the school office know if you are able to come.  Thanks!!!

Standardized Testing next week . . .

Annually, CLA administers standardized tests to all of our K-9 students.  We don’t focus on the test as much as seeing the progress and grade level equivalencies for our students.  It also gives us a good idea what areas of focus we should have to make sure the students are receiving the best instruction possible.  During the test week, we remind families to make sure that students get adequate sleep and a good breakfast!

June 2nd Golf Outing coming up! No Golf Skills Required! Find a way to participate!

The 10th Annual CLA Golf Outing will be held on Friday, June 2nd, at Bluegrass Creek Golf Course in Minier.  Packets were sent home last week with all the details…. Get involved!!!

From the Principal's Desk . . .

Reading in Romans 8 this morning, I was reminded of several very important concepts, which are helping me today…. We are more than conquerors (of trouble that comes our way) because God is FOR US.  Remember to rest in His promises for you today.  Remember to seek and follow the path that God has for you.  I am so glad to be on this journey of Christian education with all of you!

In Christ,

Mr. Horning
