News from the Music Department!
● 5th-10th grade auditions for our annual Christmas program will be next Monday (9/25) and Wednesday (9/27) during the 5/6 and 7-H music times. Students received their scripts earlier this week- make sure you are preparing for your audition! Rehearsals will begin the following week with Mrs. Young during zero hour on either Monday or Friday.
● We are looking for 3-5 middle/high schoolers and 6-8 K-4th grade students to sing with the Seeds Family Worship crew at the concert during Life Days. If you are interested, please let Mrs. Stribling know. You will need to know all motions to the songs being performed, be enthusiastic, and sing with all your heart! The Seeds concert during Life Days is Saturday, October 14th at 3pm.
● 1st and 2nd grade students have begun learning how to play the ukelele! Yes, it's every bit as fun and interesting as you can imagine. ;) If your child has a ukelele and they wish to play their own, please feel free to have them bring it to school. Otherwise, we will be working with a partner while we learn our ukelele skills!
Attention 7-10 chili supper helpers: if you are donating items to the chili supper, please drop them off at the school first thing tomorrow morning (Fri 9/22)! Thank you!
Don’t forget that you can pick up “in-stock” scrip cards at the school office. Great idea for a last minute gift!

National Box Tops Week is next week, Sept. 24-30. Clip and collect! Start sending those box tops in and see how many we can collect!
AR (Accerated Reader) Store Donations needed!
It is exciting to encourage our young people to read… and the Accelerated Reader program is one way we do that. They can accumulate points, which are then used to make purchases at the “AR Store” several times each year. Would you be willing to donate some items (small toys, fun stuff)? If so, just send to the school marked “AR Store” and it will be available for purchase for the kids. Thanks in advance!
From the Principal's Desk . . .
Several different times this past week, I’ve had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with a parent about a concern, a joy, or something to pray about. For each situation, I wanted to share just a brief reminder: God is BIGGER, and he is ABLE to help… Trust Him!!!
