Mrs. Stribling will be going to Kenya this summer, and she needs YOUR help with the Recorders without Borders Challenge! Your mission, should you choose to accept it: pick up your recorder, come up with a great costume or props, and record yourself playing a short song! Once you're done, post your video to the CLA facebook page with the following tags- @RecordersWithoutBorders, #musicconnectsus, #ChristianLifeAcademy, and #WSSRecorderChallenge. Recorders Without Borders Info. After your vivacious video of musical mastery goes viral, consider either donating your recorder OR donating $4.50 (plus a few dollars extra for shipping) to purchase a recorder to send to Kenya with Mrs. Stribling for the students at the schools in Nairobi! Please see the attached flyer for more details. If you have any questions, or would be willing to committing to praying for Mrs. Stribling's trip this summer, please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.

From the Principal's Desk . . .
I had the opportunity to get a glimpse of middle school and high school Bible several times in the last couple of weeks, and again became excited about the opportunity that we have here, at Christian Life Academy, to prepare students to be faithful disciplemakers. We learned about the Hebrew word “haver” (ha-vaiR) which defines friendship as “grappling together in twos and threes over the application of scripture.” It is our hope that at CLA we can help students learn to be friends like this!
