Opportunities to Get involved at CLA!

CLA has been blessed with a tremendous amount of growth in recent years. We currently have two opportunities available where we can use some extra special people!

1. We are in need of some individuals with education (either homeschool or public school) experience/background to help tutor our students.

2. We are also looking to form partnerships with local businesses and business owners to initiate an internship program for our high school students. Participants would need to be willing to help us craft this program, identify skills that our graduates would need in today's workforce, and develop an apprentice relationship with high school students.

If either of these opportunities speak to you, please contact Amanda Stribling at astribling@clacademy.org for more details!

Yearbooks!

We are excited that there will be a CLA yearbook this year.  Please look for an order form coming home on Monday or Tuesday!  Thanks to Mrs. Gibson and several middle school students for their time in this project!

Final AR Store - Wednesday, May 2 . . .

We welcome donations for prizes that can be purchased at the Accelerated Reader Store.  Please send in any donations as soon as possible so the store can be set up for our students to shop!  Thanks!

From the Principal's Desk . . .

For our final few Monday chapels this year, we are focusing on the message we hear in 1 Timothy 4:9-16.  We are reminded that our HOPE is in the LIVING GOD… which is such a blessing to remember, whether in times of need or discouragement, or in times of joy.  We are also reminded not to let anyone look down on us because or our age.  My prayer is that our students hold on to that truth and put it in action!

In Christ,

Mr. Horning
