Solo/Ensemble Cancelled for this year

Due to a number of factors- weather related absences, illness, and damage to the pianos in the music room- this year’s Solo and Ensemble contest is cancelled. The students will have opportunities to play their solos/ensembles prior to Spring Break- stay tuned for details!

CLA’s Easter Program- STAR QUEST

Mrs. Gibson and Mrs. Stribling will be working with the K-8th grade students on CLA’s Easter program, Star Quest.  If you are interested in purchasing a cd of the musical with the songs to use for practice at home, please send $7 with your child for a cd.  If purchased individually, they are $17.98, but if purchased in packs of 10, we can purchase them for $7. If you prefer songs placed on a flash drive instead of a cd, please contact Mrs. Stribling.

From the Principal's Desk

I had the opportunity to sit in today on some rehearsals going on for the Easter Program.  We’re in for a treat with the scripture and Godly message in the program Star Quest.  It’s just so exciting to see our students preparing to share the Word and salvation with their friends and family.  The students are truly living out the Great Commission. I’m thankful for the impact of our staff and families on the lives of these young people.  Praise the Lord!

In Christ,

Mr. Horning
