SEVERE WEATHER!

Wow, we found out today that winter is on its way.  For information about school closings or delays, please check out the school facebook page, where we will post closings, delays or other information.  We will also send out a school-wide email as well as post on local TV stations. We ask that you do not call or text staff members, but to check all of the sources above.  We attempt to make a decision by 6:30 am but sometimes it is a bit later, so check sources before leaving for school. Stay warm and safe!

Outdoor Recess with Snow on the ground

We try to go outside for recess if at all possible.  If there is snow on the ground, students who have appropriate snow gear (boots, gloves, hats, coats) will be allowed to go in the snow.  Those without gear will be required to stay on the hard surfaces out of the snow.

Pocket Change War - PTF fundraiser - UPDATE

Congratulations to the 3rd and 4th grade class, winning EVERY week of the pocket change Fundraiser!  Over $1,000 of change was collected over the four weeks, bringing in much needed funds to support our classrooms and student activities.  Thank You to all who participated!

From the Principal's Desk

In advance of all the official LIFE DAYS 2019 activities, I just want to say a big “THANKS” to all who have been so involved ahead of time in the pre-planning and organization for this huge event.  From soliciting donations, to planning activities, from hanging up a poster to organizing an entire meal, every volunteer is so important. This is the kind of event that defines who we are as a community.  It reminds me of the family of God working together to love and serve others. I’m looking forward to a fun weekend with all of you!

In Christ,

Mr. Horning
